Canyon Village is characterized by quiver trees, Nama culture, rugged landscape, and an impressive sweeping rock formation. The lodge has forty-two stone-and-thatch chalets arranged in a horseshoe design around a central thatched area, which serves as a restaurant, bar, lounge, and reception. It is described as an ideal base to explore the Fish River Canyon, 16 kilometres away from Hobas, the main viewing point.
